VW Beetle 1300 with Herbie decalsFirst registration 05.06.1965excellent conditionlast owner: Ralf Schumacher !

This exceptional VW Beetle 1300 combines classic automotive charm with a touch of film history. With its famous Herbie decals from the Disney film series "The Love Bug", it is a real eye-catcher and a special rarity for fans of classic Volkswagens.

In September 1965, the Beetle was acquired by its first owner in Linz. Already three years later it went to its second owner in the Linz area, who drove the vehicle for 17 years. After two further keepers, a married couple had the car restored between 2000 and 2002. An inspection sheet from the Salzburg state government shows that, as part of this work, the suspension, wheels and tyres, among other things, were replaced.

In 2002, the penultimate owner bought the car in Seeham and fitted it with the famous Herbie decals.

In 2013, an appraisal was carried out, in which minor defects were identified. These were subsequently rectified.

Thereafter, Ralf Schumacher finally bought this unique VW as the last owner.

We have the original Austrian registration certificate part I and the type certificate. Unfortunately, we do not have invoices and receipts.

The Lemmerz deep-dish wheels are now a great rarity. We are still replacing the blue parts in the boot with ones in the original colour.

Before handover, the car will receive a new TÜV.
