Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2

The car was delivered to its first owner on 4 November 1983 by a VW/Porsche dealer in San Juan Capistrano, California. It stayed with its first owner until 1986. In October 1986 the second owner, a lady, bought the car and kept it until 2018. In 2018 the car came to Germany. In July 2020 it received a major service. As a cylinder-head stud had broken, the engine was partially rebuilt: 24 Dilavar studs were fitted, the cylinder heads overhauled, the clutch renewed, and the chain tensioners and guide rails replaced. We have the invoice.

In spring 2021 we bought the car on behalf of a customer. Over the last 4 years, in addition to a major service, the fuel-injection control electronics were overhauled and the tyres replaced.

Apart from the engine lid, the car is in its original paint. It is therefore also accident-free.

We have the purchase contracts as well as a file of invoices going back to 1985. In addition to this first-class paper documentation, we have the original service book folder with a fully stamped original service book.

The interior is completely original; the carpet and seat leather are immaculate.

In 2021 I got in touch with the second owner, Martha Higgins in California. She was pleased to hear where her car had ended up and told me she had driven it with sheepskin covers and extra floor mats to protect the leather and the original carpet. She also avoided leaving the car standing in the sun – which probably explains the good condition of the original paint.

Platinum Metallic with silk-grey leather suits the car very well.
